As a business person facing economic hardship it’s time to sell talents that have value, and ‘things’ of interest but not essential.  I am reminded of the Depression of the man standing on the corner selling apples from a basket. I don’t see the basket too full and the product yet unsold as a negative, but in my mind we see sales at least occurring which if not selling apple pies, selling one apple at a time is a step of renewal.

Robert H. Blair (1937-2016)  was born and raised in California. He first attended the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles from 1960 to 1962, while also working for the Los Angeles Examiner in the art department.
